Studies
the interaction of economics and politics in the formation of public
policy, especially as it applies to international economic relations. The
course will focus on the political economy of trade and investment issues.
The module covers the three leading paradigms – liberal, realist and
populist – which provide a conceptual framework for understanding the
intersection of politics and economics in policy formation.
